Job Description - Physiotherapist

Position Information This position covers acute care inpatient units, including 5E Hematology and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). Rotation/Shifts Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements

Master's degree in Physiotherapy OR equivalent program recognized by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
Successful completion of registration and examination process for physiotherapy as set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
Working knowledge of regulatory standards set by licensing board (CPO);
Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Superior written and verbal communication skills;
Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities;
Eligible to work in Canada;

Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience in acute care, including oncology, cardiac care and medicine;
Physiotherapist Residents will be considered
Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advance level).
