Summary

The Director, Donor Relations is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will drive the strategic direction of the Foundation’s comprehensive Donor Relations and Events programs.

Richmond Hospital Foundation’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for donors to achieve their aspirational philanthropic goals while helping drive positive, transformational change to local health care in Richmond. Inspiring joyful giving is at the core of their promise and guides all of the work they do. It is also integral to the Foundation’s fundraising strategy (a lifetime of giving) and goal of building strong, trusting relationships with donors, clearly demonstrating the impact of their philanthropy.

The Foundation is looking for a dedicated fundraising professional to join a dynamic and strategic organization with professional, dedicated and exceptionally supportive colleagues.

The Director, Donor Relations reports to the President and CEO, is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will drive the strategic direction of the Foundation’s comprehensive Donor Relations and Events programs. As the organizational expert on donor relations, the Director, Donor Relations actively contributes to the strategic development of large-scale engagement and donor events and acts as a strategic resource for colleagues across the Foundation.

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive hiring salary range between $120,000 to $135,000 per annum, dependent on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.

This an exceptional opportunity for two seasoned fundraising professionals to inspire and harness the participation of a vibrant and committed donor community in a milestone project, the redevelopment of the Richmond Hospital campus. The jewel in thecrown will be a new acute care tower, the Yurkovich Family Pavilion, anticipated to open in 2028.
