On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Healthcare Business Analyst with experience of clinical information systems and workflows in an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain project for systems
• Day-to-Day management of system activities
• Represent systems in sprint cycles and ensure that work is assigned correctly to team members
• Attend workflow development sessions
• Provide system requirements, workflow designs, solution designs and testing plans
• Ensure the team has created/updated test scripts
• Manage the testing cycles for systems
• Manage defect management process for systems
• Coordinate design, development, test and deployment activities with vendors
• Obtain sign off and approval on all project artifacts relating to systems
• Create risks and issues in the program log
• Assess impact for correct prioritization of issues
• Contribute to cutover activities
• Develop communications required for system stakeholders
• Develop and manage the project to operations transition artifacts
• Provide weekly status reports
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years recent experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on IT systems and operational support
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in business analysis
• Must have experience with clinical information systems for Lab, Surgical, Critical Care, Medical Imaging and Cardiology, etc. in an acute care hospital setting
• Must have experience with Lab, Surgical, Critical Care, Medical Imaging and Cardiology, etc. workflow and processes
• Must have experience working with clinical information systems that use HL7 integration (eg. BizTalk) and DICOM
• Health care experience preferred
• Experience with leading software development teams
• Experience working with HL7, APIs, etc.
• Experience with Integration Platform such as MS Biztalk
• Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
• Experience working with provincial registries
• Experience working with Meditech preferred
• Experience of 7+ years
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clinical users, provincial partners, vendors, etc.
• Experience working with a diverse group of clinical users
• Experience working with EMPI
• Experience in navigating change in a clinical environment
Hourly Rate: $85-$95 Per Hour.
