Vocational Support Worker

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Mental Health & Addictions, Rehabilitation department. Under the supervision of the Community Mental Health Team Leader, provides vocational rehabilitation opportunities to individuals with a serious and persistent mental illness and works as a member of an inter-disciplinary team across programs. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:00 to 16:00 (Rotating) Terrace The thriving community of Terrace is northern living at its best. The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. • Diploma in Human Services field with completion of courses in Rehabilitation Theory, Marketing and Job Coaching.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with individuals with a disability.
• Or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR.
