The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource professional to join our People Experience team! Working with our team in Little River, you have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, are results driven, customer service oriented and a strong team player.

The role

Reporting to the Manager, People Experience this position is responsible for providing progressive HR expertise to Operations Leadership, as a member of the People Experience team. This role will be generalist in nature, and our ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Collective Agreement interpretation
• Fact Finding investigations
• New employee onboarding
• Short term illness management, including accommodation requests and building gradual return to work plans
• Attendance management
• Internal recruitment
• Participating in the Site Safety Committee.
• HR reporting metrics

What you bring to the team

You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field along with at least 3 years’ experience as a Human Resource Generalist in a unionized environment. In addition, you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and have experience with Human Resource Information Systems.

Additional information

The target salary range: $81,000 - $101,000 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
