Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, the Clerical Associate will work closely with the resource nurse, staff and physicians.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide clerical support to an active inpatient clinic as required
  • Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking/comprehension)
  • Minimum secondary school diploma
  • Medical terminology or post-secondary education relevant to this position
  • Recent clerical associate experience required (order transcription, Meditech patient registration, order entry, payroll, purchasing/stores)
  • 40-45/wpm typing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy required
  • Word processing and computer skills would be an asset
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of a very fast-paced department

  • Excellent attendance and work record required
  • Reliable, dependable, punctual
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Hours: Currently days, evenings, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:
Minimum: $24.32 per hour
Maximum: $26.34 per hour
