The House of Commons Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Director, ERP Program position on a temporary or permanent basis.

Job Description

Directors at the House of Commons serve as the vital link between the strategic vision of the organization and the specific program or services under their purview. Within a dynamic and client-centric environment, they facilitate collaboration across various programs and services, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, they foster a supportive environment for employees, encouraging their professional growth and development while promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation.

The ERP Program Director is accountable for providing direction and executive leadership to the establishment of a service providing centralized management of the Enterprise Resource Planning solution supporting the House Administration’s program and client services delivery in areas of human resources, financial, procurement and other administrative functions. This person is responsible for establishing and managing the governance model, structures and processes that enable continued centralized management of all strategies, plans and projects relating to the ERP solution, as well as the provision of guidance and support to the stakeholders accountable for the ERP solution. Responsibilities require providing direction to the ERP Program team dedicated to centralized ERP management, and for ensuring a clear distinction between corporate roles and responsibilities and service-specific functions in delivering ERP digital services and support.

Qualifications



Education :

  • University degree in a field related to information technology, finance, or business administration OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the work. 

Experiences :

  • Experience guiding and leading diverse teams with empathy, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture, and promoting career development;
  • Experience in creating and managing business relationships with multiple partners and stakeholders with competing interests and advising and aligning on complex issues to a common decision;
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ERP systems and solutions and related enterprise product integrations, along with the ability to prioritize effectively and understand partner outcomes;
  • Expertise in strategic planning principles and service delivery practices;
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to enhance or establish governance frameworks, processes, and procedures for the strategic and operational management of ERP and or related enterprise-wide digital solutions;
  • Experience leading transformational change initiatives to successfully achieve organizational goals by building understanding and gaining support for long-term sustainability;
  • Experience in leveraging a positive adaptive communication style to support, inspire, and motivate teams, while harnessing their individual strengths to achieve ambitious outcomes with high quality.

Assets :

  • Experience in leading and collaborating on negotiations for agreements related to ERP or similar enterprise-wide digital solutions, while advancing product priorities and key strategic interests;
  • Experience leading the application of information management, digital accessibility, and IT security policies and guidelines within ERP business and digital solutions and/or related enterprise-wide digital solutions.
