Our client, a leading Real Estate company is looking to grow their team with the addition of an HR Generalist in Ottawa! This position is a full-time permanent role that offers great flexibility, 3 weeks vacation along with other paid time off, generous compensation package and more. If you are a Human resources professional in Ottawa looking to drive new company initiatives and join a dynamic team, this is the role for you! Responsibilities: Lead recruitment efforts, from crafting job descriptions to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and employees. Collaborate with HR and management teams to enhance recruitment processes and attract top talent, including proactive sourcing of passive candidates. Support talent management programs, identify high-potential employees, and contribute to succession planning initiatives. Provide guidance on employee relations matters and foster a positive work environment through engagement strategies and employee surveys. Promote our employer brand both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with our organizational values and culture. Maintain HR compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, manage HRIS systems, and provide administrative support as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources, with knowledge of Ontario employment laws and practices. Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, with experience using Bamboo HR or similar HRIS systems preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail. Post-secondary education in HR or related field preferred, or equivalent professional training and experience.
