As the HR & Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team across various HR, finance and administrative functions. This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
HR and Employee Administration:
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Oversee employee contacts and job descriptions.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion.
- Handle employee inquiries and serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related matters.
- Manage employee schedules and oversee any adjustments during the season.
- Supervise the Workplace Health & Safety Program. Administer WorkSafe BC reporting.
- Administer employee benefits.
Payroll Administration:
- Process payroll accurately and on time using our payroll system.
- Verify timekeeping records and address discrepancies as needed.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
Accounts Payable:
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, coding, and payment processing.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Proven experience in HR administration, payroll administration, and accounts payable.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll processes, and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with payroll and accounting software.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with employees and vendors professionally.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation, Benefits, and Incentives:
- Full-time, year-round salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 based on education, experience, and expertise.
