Position
Reporting to the Manager, Advancement Records, the Information Management (IM) Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation and execution of an information management program that supports the Office of Vice-President (External Relations) electronic document and records management (EDRM) strategy and operational needs. The incumbent will oversee the activities of staff assigned to manage physical and digital records, and monitor staff performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
The IM Lead will be the subject matter expert in records and information management and will provide advice, analysis and recommend solutions pertaining to information issues. The incumbent will also be responsible for designing strategies to enhance business performance and decision making through improved management and access to essential business information.
The IM Lead will also ensure that the program operates efficiently, effectively, and supports the Office of Vice-President (External Relation)'s mission. The incumbent will plan and organize information management projects and activities that support operational needs, and will appropriately allocate resources.
As the project lead, The incumbent will collaborate with internal and external business units, EDRMS technical support teams, the University Records Office, service providers and various other stakeholders to foster effective relationships and ensure External Relations RIM needs are met.
