LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS COORDINATOR (PB5)

ONE-YEAR CASUAL OPPORTUNITY

CENTRAL OFFICE
The Department of Social Development is seeking an individual to join the Digital Transformation Branch as a Learning Management System Coordinator.
As the Learning Management System Coordinator, the successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and publish engaging and effective learning solutions for employees and partners. This includes a blended platform of self-directed, virtual, and in-person learnings produced using various authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline. They will be expected to prioritize and organize their work to produce deliverables based on multiple project scopes and timelines as well as facilitating the production of accurate, consistent, and accessible learning. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of the department's Learning Management System (LMS) including access management; responding to system support requests and troubleshooting issues; supporting content creators and learning specialists, managers, program consultants and employees in their use of LMS.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's Degree in Social Sciences or Education with three (3) years related experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Education and five (5) years related experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate experience and skills in one or more of the following asset qualifications:

  • Experience designing content with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate or a similar content creator as well as knowledge of SCORM standard.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System

Salary: $63,700 to $88,972 per annum
