Job Summary
Reporting to the Director - Support Services, Infection Prevention and Control, and Medical Device Reprocessing, the Strategic Delivery Manager will be a leader within Facilities and Support Services in the Eastern Rural Zone and will be responsible for ensuring the Support Services, Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC), and Medical Device Reprocessing teams are meeting their strategic goals and objectives.

The Strategic Delivery Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee daily operations, including workflow, scheduling, budget and quality assurance. The Strategic Delivery Manager will work collaboratively with other leaders within NLHS and with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate lines of communication and ensure efficient operations.

Job Qualifications

Education
A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or a health-related discipline is required.
A certificate in project management is required.
A certificate in change and process management would be considered an asset.

Experience
Experience working in a healthcare environment managing clinical project implementations is required.
Experience in change management is required.
Experience working in a management or leadership role is an asset.
Experience leading process and quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
Experience in change and project management is preferred.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Knowledge of quality improvement principles, human resource management, change management and fiscal management.
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a high pressure, diverse and changing environment.
Demonstrated strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills focused on supporting and empowering members of the team, and the ability to manage change and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills and innovation in problem solving and decision making.
Demonstrated ability to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and facilitate solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with high degree of independence and initiative, effectively manage time, and prioritize work requirements.
Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships and interface effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Based site will be a location within the Eastern Rural Zone.
Travel throughout the Eastern Rural Zone is required.
Participation in a regular, on-call rotation may be required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
