Multi-site Seniors Care Home Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager, RN to join our team, overseeing various LTC/AL/IL care homes within the Vancouver Lower Mainland including a staff of 500+, serving over 450 residents.

The ideal candidate will have at least 25 years of experience in Nursing Team Leadership and Administration demonstrating exceptional management skills, clinical expertise, and strategic vision.

As Operations Manager, RN you ensure excellence in the provision of patient-centered care within various care homes. The Operations Manager provides leadership and direction for the operations, management, utilization, risk management, and quality improvement and applies management theory and concepts to leading, staffing, monitoring, evaluating, and data gathering including the development of relevant outcome measures. The Operations Manager, RN is accountable for efficient, effective utilization of approved physical, financial, and human resources; guiding and coordinating activities in accordance with professional standards; supporting the goals and strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage multi-site nursing operations, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with all regulations

· Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

· Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency

· Monitor and evaluate nursing practices, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction

· Manage budgets and resources effectively, aligning with organizational goals and financial targets

· Serve as a mentor and role model to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and excellence.

Qualifications:

· BCCNM Registered Nurse; master’s degree in nursing preferred

· Minimum of 25 years of experience in nursing and management

· Strong leadership and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

· Proven track record in improving patient care and operational outcomes

Compensation:

· Salary range: $175,000 +

· Comprehensive benefits package including RRSP Matching and 6 weeks vacation
