As the Receivables & Collection Management Analyst, you will be responsible for the provision of financial analysis and reporting for group business, performing accounts receivables operational activities for assigned accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Processing self-billed groups' remittances 
  • Receivables accounting activities as required, including payment processing, payment allocations, reconciliations, ad hoc adjustments, monitoring of and responding to receivables management database inquiries
  • Developing and/ or preparing financial analysis, specialized client reports, and queries
  • Supporting the Business Analyst (Finance) in testing of the enhancement of financial data and systems
  • Assisting in various process improvement projects and continual automation within the department

 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, financial, or insurance concepts or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a financial reporting/ accounting role
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Ability to write advanced formulas and macros (VBA) considered an asset
  • Knowledge of data management principles with an ability to organize data effectively to meet business reporting and analysis requirements
  • Experience utilizing various query tools and accessing data bases/ data warehouses to complete information requests (PLSQL)
  • Strong accounting knowledge and  analytical skills
  • Superior problem solving skills
  • Bilingualism (English/ French) considered an asset
