The Public Service Commission ensures Alberta has a professional, non-partisan, diverse and inclusive public service that proudly serves Alberta. The Governance and Efficiency team, within the Workforce Development and Analytics branch, leads HR business process management and HR data governance functions with an outcome to deliver client-focused and timely HR services including enhancements to the integration, efficiency and functionality of government’s HR system.

Are you an out of the box, strategic thinker that likes to solve complex problems, challenge the status quo, manage projects from inception to completion, and lead a high performing team? This opportunity might be for you! Reporting to the Manager, Governance and Efficiency, you will play a key leadership role to apply your expert knowledge of human resources, strategic thinking, project and change management skills, ability to engage diverse stakeholders, and understanding of business process design to drive business change, support continuous improvement of the HR system, and leverage the APS’ enterprise resource planning software – 1GX.
