About this team

The P&C Operations group provides an elevated and truly global people experience that is powered by Digital. Enabling CoEs to deliver evolved capabilities by providing digital solutions, creating shared service delivery within P&C to streamline and improve response to people inquiries, and operating through a Product-centric model, the Operations group allows CoEs to focus on strategy & design and supports Business Partners in providing strategic support across the organization.

A day in the life:

The Senior Business Analyst collaborates closely with all P&C CoEs, global business partners, and technology teams to develop comprehensive business and functional requirements for features and functionalities that enhance our internal operations and guest experiences.

The core responsibility of the Senior Business Analyst is to conduct in-depth business analyses that clearly outline the challenges, opportunities, and proposed solutions. This analysis encompasses a thorough understanding of our P&C functions, People Technology systems, and the overall landscape of our current and future P&C, Digital, and Technology strategies and roadmaps. By doing so, they empower the P&C Digital & Technology team to deliver streamlined, scalable, and innovative solutions that elevate our global P&C capabilities efficiently and effectively.

What you do:

  • Business and functional requirement gathering for medium to large complex scope; compiling needs from multiple stakeholders into a single set of prioritized requirements.
  • Identify business processes, document their workflow in process maps that reflect the relationship between the operating model and the technology platforms, and identify roles within these processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges, and assist in aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders.
  • Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements.
  • Assess configuration options to meet requirements and specifications.
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs.
  • Engages with Digital and Technology teams to design/configure solutions.
  • Utilize or develop artifacts such as business requirements documentation, JIRA, and Confluence to facilitate requirements alignment sessions, develop test scripts, and document requirements for SOX auditing.
  • Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps to have a comprehensive understanding of the current state and ideal future state.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and drive to alignment with business partners within constraints of the project or work.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of business analyst experience.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated work experience in core human resources functions.
  • In-depth subject matter expertise in Workday plus one of our People System platforms: Avature, Docebo, or Dayforce.
  • Thorough knowledge of business processes within large-scale organizations such as employee onboarding, job transitions, timekeeping, and leave management is considered an asset.
  • Experience providing requirements and mapping business processes in Visio for medium to large complex initiatives.
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 – 135,900 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

Workplace Arrangement

This role is classified as a hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:  In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
