Service Designers

Our Client is seeking Service Designers to work on a product team using Agile Methodology, human-centered design, open-source languages and frameworks, and a cutting-edge enterprise containerization platform. The successful candidate will create a user-friendly and intuitive user experience based on service design principles. They take the lead in analyzing and implementing user feedback, as well as supporting teams that are responsible for developing user interfaces.

Project term 1-3+ years.

This role is Remote.

The Resource must reside in Canada.

• Minimum of 2 years experience with Service design research and outputs.

• Must provide 2 project examples in detail including description of project overview and approach.

• Experience working as a Service Designer in a cross-functional team.

• Experience using human-centred design approach (UX, customer experience, service design, interaction design, etc.)

• Experience planning, conducting, analyzing and researching to understand user needs and goals.

• Experience analyzing research data and presenting findings in diverse ways.

• Experience with prototypes in different media across digital and physical channels.

• Experience moving through projects, shifting focus from small details to understanding the whole system and the relationship between them.

• Experience facilitating and leading co-design workshops .

• Experience creating journey maps and service blueprints or other visual representations of user needs.

• Service design experience on complex, technical projects that developed ways to manage large volumes of data.

• Experience of working in an agile, digital product-focused development environment with user experience teams, service designers and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.

• Experience with related UX Design practices and skills, including journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and developing wireframes and prototypes.

• Experience working with personnel and product owners on an active basis to manage product backlogs and sprint activities.

• Experience coaching or mentoring technology professionals and business stakeholders on the Agile Methodology and SCRUM Framework, and related practices for product delivery.

• Understanding of modern software development patterns, tools and practices to support Agile team members.

• Service design experience on complex, technical projects that developed ways to manage large volumes of data.

• Experience of working in an agile, digital product- focused development environment with user experience teams, service designers and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.

• Experience with related UX Design practices and skills, including journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and developing wireframes and prototypes.
