Under supervision of the Coordinator of Finance, complete all relevant supports for the finance department, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, balance sheet account reconciliations, capital and grant tracking and reporting. FTE/HRS: 7hrs/day, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: PERMANENT
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary accounting course or currently admitted
to CPAWSB with completion of the prerequisite courses Minimum of 4 years related experience Advanced level of knowledge in spreadsheets and accounting software Working knowledge of Employment Insurance, Canada Pension, Income Tax Regulations and
Labour Laws Competency and knowledge of Windows based programs, database applications and Office
365
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Effective communication with co-workers, public and outside agencies, demonstrated through
written/verbal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality Business and accounting skills, with proven attention to detail Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision Ability to work collaboratively with team members Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
