SUMMER SCHOOL COORDINATOR

Temporary Postion - July & August 2024

The New Frontiers School Board will be operating summer school and supplemental exam center at the secondary level during the months of July and August 2024.

Classes will be held from June 26, 2024, to August 2nd, 2024, including exams. 

Successful candidates will be expected to plan and coordinate the delivery of all summer school services. 

New Frontiers will consider a division of responsibilities should two ideal candidates present themselves.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS COORDINATOR

• The organization and pedagogical set up of summer school

• Hiring and overseeing staff prior to the starting of summer school 

• Meetings and trainings with administration, teachers, consultants, and support staff prior to the beginning of summer school

• Manage payroll 

• Financial planning and execution

• Manage set up of information systems

• Solving problems as necessary

• Preparation of a marks data base for transmission to MEQ 

• Transmit results to schools, students, and parents

• Coordinate exam review

• Coordinate the delivery of services with LEARN Quebec 

• Coordinate the registrations with LEARN Quebec 

• Communicate with parents as needed 

• Organize the services for any special project courses 

• Prepare and present a comprehensive final report

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR 

Coordinator of Instructional Services 

WORK SCHEDULE 

TBD with supervisor. 

LOCATION 

Opportunity for hybrid work. 

RENUMERATION 

The salary for the coordinator will be $6,000 

EFFECTIVE 

July 3, 2024 until August 2, 2024
