Job Description - Billings Process Analyst

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is recruiting for a Customer Logistics Representative. This position will be located in Markham, Ontario and follow a Hybrid work schedule. Position Summary: The Billing Process Analyst is responsible for performing the billings for all DePuy Synthes Loaner and Mentor Short Term Consignment items used by Customers. Partnering with the Sales team, the Asset Deployment team, Finance and Customers, this individual strives to ensure that revenue is recognized accurately and timely for these orders and that write offs and customer disputes are minimized. The Billing Process Analyst issues regular reporting to the business detailing results and billing performance, calling out immediate actions required, and identifying any opportunities or risks. The successful candidate operates in a controlled environment and is responsible to complete all tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and in compliance with financial and GxP regulations. This individual is expected to become highly knowledgeable in this role and will be called on to support key projects or provide guidance to other regions. Key responsibilities:
  • Performs billings accurately and in a timely manner through close collaboration with sales agents, the Asset Deployment team, and customers.
  • Works directly with sales reps to minimize cycle time on short term consignment inventory in compliance with company policy (Mentor)
  • Monitors and reports on critical metrics including aged open balance and billing rejections to various stakeholders.
  • Initiates investigation into customer disputes, through coordinated efforts with distribution, logistics, and sales
  • Validation and processing of credit and debit memos across the rest of the Medical business
  • Ensure all activities are driven according to internal Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Systematically identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes potential process improvements.
  • Creates and completes implementation plans; documents, communicates, and measures process improvements.
  • Supports systems enhancements and improving system capabilities through participation in the Power User network and best practice sharing.
Leads or supports projects including, but not limited to:
  • Process Optimization
  • Systems Projects or Enhancements
  • New Capabilities
  • Cost Improvement Projects.
  • Education: a minimum of a Vocational, Certificate, Technical, Associates or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a customer facing supply chain, finance role or related field is required.
  • Highly collaborative and proven business partnering skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability and process ownership
  • Able to work autonomously, demonstrates superior time management skills and can prioritize multiple timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid analytical skills with an ability to use data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Proactive, continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes.
  • Enthusiasm for the role
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office application including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, preferred.
  • Experience and exposure to different areas of supply chain is an asset.
