Midland transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a  Cash Entry Clerk based in our Head Office Location in Dieppe, NB. The Cash Entry Clerk is responsible for accurate payment entry/posting of all transport and courier shipments, and for balancing with the bank. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, a self-starter with a strong work ethic and someone who enjoys working with numbers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School diploma
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced Team environment
• Open to change and always finding ways to improve processes
• Thrives at prioritizing, multitasking, and staying organized
• Strong computer skills
• Proficient working with Microsoft Office including Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Adobe
• Knowledge in AS400/Tell & FACTS systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate daily posting of payments per customer remittance
• Preparation of daily bank deposits
• Pulling remittance back-up for internal and external customers
• Answer credit card phone line and taking payments
• Balance against the bank
• Write up and post cash adjustments when required
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned by Supervisor
