Job Summary:

The Director of Business Operations and Finance is accountable for the infrastructure that ensures the Company is operating efficiently. This includes the leadership of the financial functions of the company, information systems, warehousing, logistics, order management, and production. In addition, this role is responsible for key business processes. These processes include financial reporting, business planning, sales & inventory planning. This position will also be responsible for managing the strategic partnerships with key vendors that support production and logistics.

The Forever Group is looking to build the next level of leadership reporting to the CEO. This position will be the key business partner for the CEO to ensure that the company operates with systems and processes that enable the company to grow at an accelerated rate. The opportunity will initially oversee 3 direct reports and 7 in total.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities but not limited to:

Business Systems

  • Provide leadership in support of IT and ERP systems, business processes, data reporting, and analysis required for effective and timely decision-making by cross-functional departments.
  • Lead a digital transformation over the next 2 years which drives efficiency of business operations and productivity of employees.
  • Identify software business solutions and lead the implementations across the organization.

Logistics & Warehousing

  • Coach the logistics team to ensure efficient distribution and warehousing solutions.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the team is minimizing cost for logistics & warehousing while providing excellent service to our customers.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing Leadership to meet the needs of our customers.

Manufacturing

  • Analyze current manufacturing process and identify efficiency opportunities.

Order Flow Management

  • Ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently and meet customer compliance requirements.

Financial Management, Reporting and Controls

  • Lead the planning and budget process working closely with all departments.
  • Managing and mentoring the finance and operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement.

Business Insights

  • Create the data infrastructure to ensure that analytics is performed efficiently and with accurate data.
  • Set the company standard for business analysis to improve performance and guide decision making.

Sales and Inventory Planning

  • Lead the forecasting and production planning process to ensure the Forever Group optimizes in-stock levels at the minimal possible costs while managing inventory risk.

Role Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education specializing in business and finance.
  • CPA/CA designation in good standing is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the implementation of ERP and IT systems is required .
  • Minimum 10 years operations and financial leadership experience.
  • Experience leading strategic business planning.
  • Experience working in a planning or finance role in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Suite (or similar).
  • Strong business analysis skills and business judgment.
  • Financial management and reporting for external and internal compliance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Overseas travel may be required on a limited basis.

JOB TYPE: THIS ROLE IS ON-SITE SALARY: Up to 150K based on experience plus bonus
