Electrical Design Engineer

The Successful Electrical Design Engineer Will Be Responsible For

• Providing design input on projects, using the technical competencies listed below.
• Producing engineering designs, specifications, and documentation to ISO 9001.
• Assisting in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals.
• Offsite engineering support for new products.
• Assisting sales and marketing in the preparation of quotes and proposals.
• Providing customer support.
• Providing technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments.
• Ensuring the suitability of the engineering aspects of company products for their function.

The Successful Electrical Design Engineer Will Have

• BSc degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related/equivalent subject.
• Technical competencies within electric motor types, designs and specification.
• Experience within Design of analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Ability to Complete and check designs and documentation.
• Safety consciousness, attentiveness to QHS&E policies and regulations (ISO 9001 QA systems).
• Proficient with AutoCAD/DraftSight and conversant with MATHCAD
