Events and Experiences Manager

Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Director  Storytelling and Content Services, the Events and Experiences Manager assists in the development and implementation of planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events and activities that align with the goals and values of our Metis Nation Saskatchewan Government. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding and respect for Metis culture and traditions. As the Government expands, the Events and Experiences Manager will interact with the public, and establish productive relationships with key rightsholders, stakeholders, vendors, MNS internal departments, MNS elected, executives, and Elders. Supported by and in coordination with SCS, the Events and Experiences Manager will help promote strategic communications including clear and on-going communication and engagement with MNS citizens and encourage participation in the MNS government. Key Responsibilities
-Plan, organize, and execute various events and activities, including community gatherings, cultural celebrations, workshops, conferences, and ceremonies.
-Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and onsite coordination.
