Logistics Specialist

Position: Logistics Specialist

Location: Uxbridge, ON 

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience)

Industry: Manufacturing / Shipping / Warehouse 

Employment Term: Full Time/Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Assembling pallets of materials to be shipped out
• Sorting materials on arrival back, and distributing to various areas in shop
• Loading & unloading trucks with electric pallet truck or forklift
• Processing of Waybills, shipping documents, and international shipment paperwork
• Creating PO’s in company’s system
• Following up with vendors on status of work
• Assisting Shipping Coordinator in processing shipments
• Other duties as they arise

Requirements & Skills:

• 3-5 years related shipping & receiving experience
• Experience with Waybills and other shipping documents
• Hands on experience with ERP System such as SAGE
• Experience handling domestic and international shipping
• Good at Microsoft Office and Windows operation system.
• Counterbalance forklift experience
• Crane experience an asset/will train
