Manager Facilties, Fleet & Logistics

Halifax Water is accepting applications for one (1) regular full-time Manager, Facilities, Fleet & Logistics in the Corporate Services Department.

As the Manager, Facilities, Fleet & Logistics, reporting to the Director of Operations you will be responsible to:

• Co-ordinate the supply and management of Facilities, Fleet and Logistics Services to all Halifax Water Departments.
• Establish and maintain service delivery standards for facilities services, fleet utilization, maintenance and service.
• Support and champion combined logistics, shared services and contracted facilities and maintenance services across all Halifax Water departments to improve operational and organizational efficiencies.

To do this job, you need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Commerce or other related discipline.
• Other equivalent combinations of related education, training and experience may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible business management experience in a utility, municipal or related services field.
• Three to five years direct management experience in facilities, fleet maintenance, procurement, inventory or logistics in a utility, municipal or related services field
