RMG Couriers is looking to work with brokers with a team of drivers OR individuals with SUVs/Medium size van to deliver packages for our customers across the GTA. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. Never worry about unruly passengers again, it’s just you, the road, and your packages.

Responsibilities • Load and deliver the assigned shipment effectively and efficiently • Schedule and distribute routes to your drivers according to the needs • Manage the arrival and departure of your drivers and track their progress throughout the day • Use scanners and other equipment’s with care and consideration and report technical issues to the supervisor’s immediately • Verify manifests and report any errors • Drive in professional manner. Be alert on road while delivering by following all the rules and regulations • Be able to cover 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) • Average 100 to 140 deliveries per day

About You and Your Team • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and able to deliver outstanding customer service • Able to speak, read and write in English • Able to work independently, follow direction as needed in a fast-paced and changing environment • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and well organized • Previous delivery experience an asset

Requirements • The vehicles you will require : Sprinter Van, Ford Transit, or Medium size van/SUV (preferred) • Class 5 driver license; Drivers abstract, valid insurance and registration • Able to lift up to 50 lb • Smart phone with minimum of 3GB data

Please note that the relationship between Owner Operators and RMG Couriers is via sub-contracting agreement, not an employee-employer relationship
