Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will provide support on organization-wide talent focused projects/ programs to drive culture and engagement. It assists with on-boarding services, takes responsibility for Hospital wide orientation and plays a key role in the creation and implementation of professional development activities including developing/building/testing eLearning modules. The OD and Learning Coordinator will be accountable for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Learning Management System. In addition, the role will support and coordinate team-driven events and assist in facilitation of OD related sessions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support on company-wide talent focused projects/ programs to drive culture and engagement
  • Partners with other members of the OD team to implement and support L&D/OD initiatives
  • Coordinates and facilitates new hire orientation sessions
  • Establishes training calendar for professional development related to identified needs and strategic focus
  • Provides support to New Leader Onboarding, General Hospital Orientation, Emerging Leaders Program, Leadership Development Programs, and EDI Training
  • Coordinates training including all aspects of administration (i.e. registration, catering, logistics, room coordination etc.)
  • Deploys training evaluations, monitors feedback and makes recommendations for future changes to course design
  • Conducts portfolio needs assessments to identify emerging trends and assess issues/risks and the internal business environment within the organization
  • Leads Mandatory training rollout plan (quarterly) for the organization (in conjunction with the SME) to ensure training is deployed and completed across organization
  • Conducts needs assessment to determine training needs and gaps
  • Assists in facilitating change management process with department counterparts
  • Support the administration of the Engagement Survey (i.e. configuration, data set validation, reports)
  • Administration of TD Grants for education and tracking
  • Administers Employee Discounts Program including responding to inquiries, administration, maintenance of St. Joe's vendors, and liaise with third party platform
  • Administers Performance Appraisal input process and information tracking for compliance measurement
  • Support Business Transformation Project (as required) to help meet the project deadlines
  • Supports overall system administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System
  • Regularly updates existing users and adds/uploads new users to the system
  • Facilitates course registration and attendance tracking
  • Trouble shoots and investigates user issues
  • Trains educators on reporting and LMS data administration
  • Acts as subject matter aspect on LMS administration
  • Administers and analyses stay interviews, identifies trends and prepares recommendations
  • Prepares and distributes reports on compliance for mandatory and legislated training requirements
  • Evaluates results for training and development programs; ensures alignment with business strategic goals
  • Reports on the progress of OD initiatives and programs and related metrics
  • Supports manager with strategic workforce planning (talent management and succession planning)
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Adult Education or equivalent required
  • CHRP/L Designation and Change Management certification preferred
  • eLearning Developer professional membership preferred
  • Minimum 3 years general OD or HR experience including talent management, eLearning and training development, and OD projects; advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite. Previous experience working with Adobe Captivate software and Articulate 360 to develop eLearning content, as well as administration of Learning Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experienced with Adobe Captivate and Articulate360 course authoring software
  • Must understand Adult Learning Principles including Instructional Design, Instructional Strategies, Needs Assessment and Evaluation
  • Focused on customer service
  • Approachable, good relationship builder
  • Proactive and Collaborative with internal partners and external stakeholders
  • Advanced computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities combined with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet high demands and timelines
  • Strong consultation skills with an ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve goal
