About this role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-Time Product Owner, Logistics System to join our dynamic Integrated Supply Chain Business Systems and Analytics team. The work of a Product Owner is integral to Canadian Blood Services’ role as Canada’s Lifeline. Reporting to the Associate Director, ISC Business System, you will build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, and be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by a cross-functional team to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the technology product, driving a best-in-class product vision.
As Product Owner you’ll be at the heart of creating and enhancing scalable platform tools for CBS, and the primary point of contact on behalf of systems customers in the Shipping and Logistics environment. You will collaborate closely with Integrated Supply Chain Operations, Process Management, and Information Technology, Internal and External Customer Experience teams. System Products in your scope will include interoperable custom and out-of-the-box applications servicing the Logistics and Shipping Management Experience (e.g. Online Hospital Portal (Distribution & Ordering), SAP – WM, SAP – S&D, and Descartes (SMS)).
