Job Description - Specialist talent acquisition

RECRUITER - RECRUITMENT - TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST - HEAD HUNTER - UP TO $95,000 / YEAR Our client, an iconic Canadian company with over 100 years of experience driving the growth and success of businesses in Canada, is looking for a talent acquisition specialist to support their growing business. They provide national specialty fleet solutions, general freight, transportation management, order processing and distribution, and home delivery services. With a national network of terminals, transshipment docks and distribution centers, we are one of the largest and most trusted supply chain providers in Canada. Driven by the desire to exceed customer expectations and backed by technology and innovation, they simplify the most complex logistics challenges. You will be able to work hybrid in one of their branches located either in Bois-des-fillions, Laval or Quebec. The Level III Talent Acquisition Specialist within their trucking company plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting and hiring top talent for executive positions to drive their organization's success in the industry trucking and logistics. Your primary responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing and implementing recruiting strategies, and recruiting candidates through various channels. You will also be responsible for conducting pre-screenings, assessing candidates and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. What we offer
Permanent employment
A competitive base salary varying between $67,500 to $95,000/year, to be discussed depending on experience
A work-life balance
Daytime schedule only. 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Parking on site or accessible by public transport
Social benefits paid at 80% by the employer (Life insurance, medications, salary, disability, dental, paramedical) from day 1
RPDB retirement (Collective RRSP) with 2% employer contribution
3 weeks of vacation per year
3 days of personal leave and 10 sick leave
Hybrid and flexible teleworking model, presence in the office 2 days per week

Ensure the complete recruitment cycle for positions at professional or higher level
Participate in the full cycle of trucker recruitment
Collaborate with the recruitment marketing department for the management of the Canada Cartage brand and come up with original ideas that reinforce the authenticity and culture of the company
Collaborate with other Canada Cartage teams to develop programs to attract and train qualified truck drivers
Pay close attention to loyalty initiatives and programs
Be responsible for measuring results and achieving goals, including: timeliness to fill positions, candidate quality (road test pass rate, quality of hire measurement, employee turnover metrics) )


Who are you ?
Excellent sourcing skills
Being able to manage mass hiring, mainly for class 1 truck drivers
You are bilingual French-English
You have 4 years of recruitment experience, including 2 for high-volume hires
You are a creative person
