* Please note that this position is based in Brossard, but may also be located in another Cascades business unit.

• Develops dynamic simulation and optimization models using AnyLogistix software.
• Carry out studies at different levels of granularity, according to the needs of internal customers, in order to improve operations.
• Participate in model deployments and strategic initiatives
• Identify trends and/or propose improvement initiatives based on model results
• Presents analysis results
• Works closely with planning functions and data masters to determine data requirements for model design
• Develops an automated approach to updating optimized models

You too, put forward your strengths: 

• You have 2 years' experience in simulation, optimization and operations research.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation and/or manufacturing (a strong asset!)
• You have experience with a modeling tool, such as Llamasoft and/or Anylogistix.
• You are familiar with the Python programming tool
• You have solid skills in database manipulation and visual creation in Microsoft PowerBI or other business intelligence software.
• You have a strong sense of organization and work planning.
• You're a self-starter with a rigorous approach to your work.
• You enjoy teamwork and continuous improvement.
• You are fluent in both French and English, so you can communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
