Job Description - Store Operations Manager Home Furnishings

Description

Showroom:

  • Develop innovative processes to enhance showroom success.
  • Triage, allocate, and track incoming inquiries.
  • Implement and manage CRM systems for streamlined operations.
  • Oversee IT and utility management.
  • Maintain facility and liaise with landlords.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and positivity.
  • General management of the showroom operations.

Sales Support:

  • Manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Develop prospecting systems.
  • Handle triage and initial inquiry responses.
  • Allocate opportunities effectively.
  • Provide support across trade, contract, and consumer sales.
  • Coordinate site visits and showroom appointments.

Administration:

  • Track and report all activities.
  • Undertake light bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
  • Manage payables and receivables.
  • Generate management reports.
  • Systematically track shipments.

Marketing:

  • Develop and execute transformative digital strategies.
  • Drive overall strategy in collaboration with sales.
  • Create and distribute compelling multimedia content.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing metrics.
  • Manage Google reviews and responses.
  • Oversee third-party SEO and social media partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on email campaigns.
  • Refine toolkits, collateral, and guerrilla marketing efforts.

Logistics:

  • Manage third-party freight partners.
  • Coordinate incoming shipments from Europe.
  • Oversee delivery and installation partners.
  • Coordinate outgoing deliveries and installations.
  • Manage warehouse operations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in managing high-quality furniture or space solutions stores.
  • Proven leadership skills in driving initiatives and managing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on tactical expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and retain partnerships.
  • Track record of successful content strategies across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Graphic design experience and CAD proficiency are advantageous.
