We’re looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Warehouse team as Coordinator, Warehouse. 

 

As a Coordinator, Warehouse , you will be responsible for….

 

The day-to-day activities in a warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and effective coordination of tasks. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, and facilitating smooth workflows within the warehouse.


Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Inventory Management:
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, storing, and organizing goods.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and reconcile discrepancies in stock levels.


2. Supervision and Training:
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure adherence to procedures and safety protocols.
• Schedule staff shifts, monitor performance, and address any performance or disciplinary issues.


3. Order Fulfillment and Shipping:
• Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule shipments and ensure on-time delivery of goods.


4. Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
• Streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and minimize errors in inventory management.


5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain warehouse documentation, including shipping/receiving records, inventory logs, and incident reports.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, operational metrics, and warehouse performance for management review.


Accountabilities:
1. Effective management of warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient workflows, and timely order fulfillment.
2. Accountability for supervising staff, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing warehouse processes.


Knowledge and Skills:
1. Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics procedures.
2. Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
3. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and MS Office applications.
4. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.


Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2. 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or coordinator role.
3. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and best practices in inventory control.
4. Experience in implementing process improvements and working with cross-functional teams.
