Additionally, Odyssey has experience supporting established venues such as nightclubs and film & TV sets with medical team coverage on a year-round basis. Odyssey has an established Medical Direction and symptom relief program to support first responders, medics, and advanced medical team practitioners in providing efficient, discreet and exceptional care. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Odyssey Medical is actively looking for individuals to join our team Job Title: WAREHOUSE, LOGISTICS and SUPPLIES ASSOCIATE Job Location: Burnaby, British Columbia Job Type: Full Time 30 to 40 hrs (warehouse & event hours) Job Duration: May to September, with potential extension based on business needs. Job Compensation: $18.00-$21.00 per hour We are seeking a dedicated person who is committed to upholding our collective objectives:

  • We take care of our CLIENTS by acting as an extension of their eyes and ears and projecting a welcoming yet alert presence while circulating within the event site and among participants.
  • We take care of our CREW by building a culture of mutual support, fostering effective communication and promoting team collaboration to ensure that our skills develop and align with the ever-evolving needs of pre-hospital care.
JOB PURPOSE: WAREHOUSE, LOGISTICS and SUPPLIES ASSOCIATE is responsible for supporting event medical operations and retail supplies sales inventory by managing equipment, vehicles, and supplies. This position ensures the maintenance and repair of equipment, logical staging of the warehouse and loading and unloading of equipment and supplies. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the warehouse's overall appearance and upkeep by ensuring cleanliness and an organized presentation. CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Flexible mindset as additional hours worked during overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required and shall be fully compensated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Load, deliver, stage, and unload event medical equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
  • Ascertain the condition of our vehicles, pedal bikes, and trailers, and flag any issues.
  • Work to high safety standards, identifying and communicating safety hazards.
  • Monitor equipment and maintain control over inventory levels.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions when possible.
  • Prepare and place supply orders with supervisory approval.
  • Contribute to keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a background check as needed.
  • A current class 5 driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education is an advantage.
  • Active Standard First Aid/CPR or higher certificate is an asset.
  • Experience towing trailers is an advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Additional hours worked during overtime, evenings, or weekends are fully compensated.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stretching, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, vibration, road conditions, vehicle and human traffic, computer screens, dangerous equipment, and the public.
