Position: Accounting Technician
Location: Boucherville
Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per year depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Work Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week flexible, early finish on Fridays!

Accounting Technician Wanted! Secure a permanent position within a stable and well-established manufacturing company in Boucherville!

Offered Conditions:

- Permanent full-time position
- Salary negotiable, based on experience, ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 per year
- Day shift work schedule, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible, early finish on Fridays!

Responsibilities:

- Perform various tasks related to monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain financial records
- Organize, keep up-to-date, and reconcile various accounts
- Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts
- Prepare trial balances of accounts and financial statements
- Perform calculations and prepare payroll checks and invoices
- Fill out and submit forms and documents; governmental
- Prepare tax returns and provide bookkeeping services for individuals
- Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports

Requirements:

- Functional bilingualism in spoken and written form to communicate with suppliers outside Quebec
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and ease of use with different systems, advanced Excel
- Accounting training, ideally collegiate, or any other relevant training
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience as an accounting technician
