Job Description:Job Description We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Technician (CNC Programming) for our client located in Georgetown. The company is the leading steel distributor in Canada. Responsibilities: · Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and models. · Develop CNC programs for laser, plasma, and oxy cutting machines based on design specifications. · Reverse engineer customer parts and templates to create accurate CAD models and drawings. · Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability. · Perform quality checks and review designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. · Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CAD/CAM software or CNC programming. · Maintain organized documentation of design revisions, CNC programs, and project specifications. · Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD/CAM software and CNC machining technology. · Provide technical support and training to team members as needed. Requirements: · Proficiency in AutoCAD software and experience creating technical drawings and models. · Strong knowledge of CNC programming for laser, plasma, and oxy cutting machines. · Ability to reverse engineer customer parts and templates to create accurate CAD models. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Effective communication and collaboration skills. · Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.
