CNC Machine Operator

Position : CNC Machine Operator 

Location: Oakville, ON 

Salary: $25 - $30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) + OT

Industry: Manufacturing / CNC / Milling

Employment Term: Full Time / In-person

Shift : Morning 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Operate CNC Horizontal/Vertical Milling machines, including setup procedures.
• Familiarity with CNC programs and codes, including G and M codes.
• Work within tight tolerances, ensuring parts meet quality specifications outlined in technical drawings.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks to ensure the safety and readiness of equipment and lifting devices for production.
• Operate efficiently under fast-paced conditions, potentially managing multiple machines simultaneously.
• Adhere to Company Health & Safety standards and programs.
• Additional related duties.

Qualifications & Experience :

• High School Diploma with proficiency in mathematics and mechanical drawing skills.
• Recent graduate from college or technical trade school.
• 5 or more years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Milling machines; the company is willing to provide training if necessary.
• Previous experience with forklift operation and familiarity with jib/overhead cranes is an asset.
• Physical capability to perform essential duties, including regular lifting and carrying loads ranging from 5-23 kg.
• Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal & written
