CNC Operator & Programmer

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will be proficient in mill/lathe setup and programming with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Mastercam, Mazatrol, Conversational & G-Code Programming experience
• Hands-on, milling, turning, and live tooling experience.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components according to engineering drawing and specifications
• Responsible for the finished quality of machined pieces.
• Responsible for completing machining and manufacturing as per the shop schedule.
• Responsible for the verification of toolpaths & modelling fixtures prior to production.
• Determine proper tooling and testing of new tooling and techniques for optimization.
• Maintain a proactive and positive approach when completing assigned tasks either individually or as part of the team.
• All other duties which may be assigned based on the company's requirements.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman trade designation in machining
• Minimum 10 years plus of machining & repair experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally Lift / Carry weights to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally Push / Pull weights to 150 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
