Job Description

• Ensure all operations related to the use of assigned heavy machinery (grapples, magnets) while respecting safety rules, quality and environmental standards in force;
• Sort materials and supply raw materials to the various factories;
• Load and unload materials from trucks and rail cars;
• Notify the supervisor of any material non-compliance;
• Inspect the machinery at the start of the shift;
• Ensure the proper functioning of the machinery and report any anomalies to your immediate superior;

Please note that the candidate will be called upon to perform tasks with the excavator and loader as needed.

Qualifications

• DEP in heavy machinery or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience on a heavy vehicle Driving experience on a heavy vehicle (grapple loader) (asset)
• Knowledge of metals (asset)

Additional Information

• Full-time position, 100% job security guaranteed!;
• Schedule 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.;
• Possibility of additional time;
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40:00.
