Generator Engineer

Our Client is seeking the services of a Generator Engineer to assist in upcoming generator inspections, as part of the 2024 maintenance season.

Assignment Description  

• Review of existing documentation, drawings and inspection procedures;
• Provide guidance to Client's engineering team with completing inspections, including highlighting areas of interest.
• Review and analyze inspection findings, and guide Client's team with determining next steps and actionable items.

Optional - participate in a one week site visit during inspections to assist Client's engineering team. 

Qualifications Required  

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering;
• 30 years of direct experience in the field of hydro-electric generators;
• 20 years of direct experience with a generator original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and installations teams.

Duration

Inspections will be completed during the unit annual maintenance season. 

June 2024 - October 2024 (PT ~ 150 hours)
