Human Resource Coordinator

Our client leader in food manufacturing is looking for a Human Resource Coordinator on an evaluation hire. This small team of professionals has room to prove yourself and grow. 

You must be high energy and dynamic and be empathetic to the employees and team members. You will be dealing with very confidential information and so you must also have a high degree of discretion. If this sound like you, apply immediately! 

What we Offer:

• $26.00 an hour to start.    
• Opportunity for full time hire.  
• Monday to Friday- 8:30am-5:00pm 
• Weekly pay.  

What you do:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
• Deal with employee requests regarding the newly formed Collective Agreement. 
• Conducting orientation to newly hired employees and onboarding.
• Compile and update employee records, attendance, training, sign offs for policy changes and process documents to keep files up to date. 
• Monitors, tracks and administers attendance policy and issues employee letters.
• Creates IT Requests when required. 
• Manages service awards program. 
• Process PPE requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Collage diploma or University degree in Human Resources. 
• 2 years experience in similar role. 
• Knowledge of collective agreements would be an asset. 
• Must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills with the ability to also pivot in duties when required.
