Maintenance Electrician

Position : Licensed Electrician 

Location: Brantford, ON 

Salary: $42/hr + Shift premium afternoons

Shift: afternoons/nights and/or Weekends days (Friday - Sunday)

Industry: Manufacturing / Automotive / Electrician

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Safely use hand and power tools to install machinery, support equipment, and structures on all machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, and electrical, and mechanical drawings for plant equipment and processes.
• Perform repairs on machinery and plant support systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs.
• Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Compile data and write reports on projects when necessary.
• Maintain and manage the manufacturing condition of the production line.
• Additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience :

• 2 years experience as an electrical technician/electrician in manufacturing.
• Valid 442A or 309A license.
• Strong mechanical/electrical skills.
• Experience with sequence control and PLCs.
• Knowledge and experience with ISO-based quality systems are preferred but not required.
• Comfortable taking direction, multitasking, and managing time efficiently for best results.
• Able to report to either the Weekday Afternoon shift or the Weekend Day shift.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
