Maintenance Manager

Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Hamilton, ON area (50 minute south)

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 per year (Based on experience)

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Industry: Manufacturing / Food / Days / Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Support the Plant Engineer in finding opportunities to implement and maintain the process for improvement
• Aid with troubleshooting
• Understand and elevate the standards for People Safety and Food Safety when the equipments are operated
• Work with the Team in Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Among other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5 - 10 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in the food industry
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills and troubleshooting background (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• Implemented a successful Maintenance Program in previous positions
• Food manufacturing/packaging experience
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
