Job Description:Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler Location: Ancaster, ON Duration: 4+ Months (possibility of extension) Pay Rate: CAD 21/hr Shift Timings: Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 3:15pmJob Description:As an assembler, you will perform a variety of production tasks includingassembly, working from a Bill of Material, picking material from stock, and testing assemblies.All this work is done according to instructions provided in the form of drawings and QOI’s. Inthis role, you will complete all paperwork assemblies. Key Responsibilities:Perform mechanical production assembly work of simple complexity and have theability to work within a fast-paced environment.Perform final assembly and determine the method of assembly of parts into sub-assemblies,and sub-assemblies into units or systems.Ensure that all related directions and documentation are accurate including a review ofQOI’s, pick lists, quality checklists, and other related documentation. Ensure that allparts and sub-assemblies are correct and to desired specifications.Retrieve material to ensure that stock items are available on the production floor andinform the Production Supervisor of any shortages.Safely power up and test finished assemblies and have a sufficient understanding of theitems assembled to perform troubleshooting and rework.Regularly perform the use of ordinary hand tools, calibrated tools, and analyticalinstrumentation, as well as chemically aggressive fluids, such as acids and bases. Highvoltages occur in the instruments under repair (Manual dexterity, reasonable vision, andsafety awareness is important).
