You will also maintain and refine our existing production equipment and processes, to improve both performance and manufacturability. Responsibilities • Designs, implements and manages production workstations, test fixtures and jigs. • Implements and maintains production documentation and procedures. • Ensures that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. • Participates in product testing. • Applies knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering to drive containment and corrective action implementation into production. • Designs and optimizes floor plan and production workflow. • Implements and reports value stream KPI’s. • Conducts time studies and targets improvements that will make the most impact to production quality, time, and cost. Skills and Qualifications • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills and problem solving. • Ability to handle multiple jobs and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment with fluctuating priorities. • Strong project management skills. • Mechanical design experience required. • Electrical design experience desired. • SolidWorks and MS Office Suite experience required. • Altium experience desired. • Knowledge of adhesive dispensing desired. • Experience in automation is an asset.
