Mold Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in multi-cavity mold design, strong 3D mold design experience in SolidWorks, together with industry experience and leadership capability. Location : Vaughan, ON

Requirements – Mold Design Engineer (Senior):

- 10+/- years' experience in mold design for plastic, or other material – required.

- Multi-Cavity design experience – required

- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ANSI drawing standards.

- Mechanical Engineering diploma or equivalent experience.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Exposure to ISO requirements is a strong preference

- Leadership qualities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet customer-driven deadlines.

- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities - – Mold Design Engineer (Senior):

- Understand mold concepts and apply them effectively in design processes.

- Communicate and collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production.

- Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and mechanical simulations.

- Prepare 3D drawings in accordance with specifications and other relevant documents.

- Ensure adherence to ISO conformity in the production department.

- Regularly participate in R&D technical development meetings.

- Adhere to all GMP, clean room, and ISO procedures.
