Operations Accountant Location: Vancouver, Prince George in Canada or Monroe, in US (Hybrid) Permanent Role Salary Range: CAD $70,000 - $80,000 per year Closing Date 12th May 2024 About The Role As an Operations Accountant, you’ll assist with the month end closing process, balance sheet reconciliation and preparation of financial reporting for the Northern pellet operations. You’ll ensure financials controls are established, policies are adapted and implemented and contribute to process improvements. You’ll play an important role in interacting with the plant operations team to support with operational accounting and ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. About You You’ll have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a professional qualification in accountancy is an added advantage. Experience in operational accounting preferably from a manufacturing or environmental background is beneficial. Your sound excel, organisation, communication and stakeholder relationship skills would help you succeed in this role. This role would have a hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week, working out of the nearest Drax office.
