Job Summary
Daily production planning based on production numbers/manpower
Production completion on daily basis and individual target achievement on consistent basis
Closely working with the Shipping department for the timely deliverance of finished product
Labor control
Accuracy in daily pending jobs reporting
Continuous Improvement and Lean Implementation on Door Line with the Continuous Improvement Team
CNC (Slab cutting and Jamb prep) operations
Autonomous maintenance of the machines
In-process check-sheets monitoring and control
Dealing with daily Quality issues and addressing them with team
Conducting Bi-weekly E, H & S meetings
Doing the Hazard Assessments of the machinery and general work conditions on the Door Line on a regular basis
Required Education, Skills And Qualifications
Must be physically able to lift between 50-80 Ibs
Must be comfortable with units of measure such as mm and inches (metric system)
Skilled with saws, cutting tools, and other hand tools
Answer questions about products and processes within their area of responsibility
Is able to explain the steps needed to complete manufacture and assembly of products in their area
Develops a good knowledge of related products and processes
Ensure accuracy and completeness in all areas of responsibility
Able to read and interpret specification sheets
Comfortable with computer applications used in the manufacture process
Skilled with various methods of measurement and verification
Ensure current knowledge and compliance in all safety requirements on the line and throughout the building
Take action if other associates are acting in an unsafe manner.
