Program Purchasing Lead

Adecco is currently seeking a Program Purchasing Lead in Ajax, ON, with a competitive salary of $38-$42 per hour. This 24-month contract role offers the opportunity to spearhead purchasing processes for a diverse range of bought parts within the aerospace industry. • Pay rate: $38-$42/hour.
• Location: Ajax, ON
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
• Job type: 24-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Represent the focal point for purchasing within the Integrated Program Team.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align purchasing strategies.
• Manage purchasing processes in accordance with industry standards and company regulations.
• Prepare and drive purchasing-related documentation and plans.
• Lead estimation processes and ensure timely completion of purchasing actions.
• Monitor and manage purchasing risks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address emerging topics and changes.
• Support the industrialization of equipment and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• A degree in Business and/or Engineering.
• Technical understanding of landing gear and manufacturing processes.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or engineering, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex subjects.
• Fluency in English, with French being an asset.
• Experience in project management and/or transversal management.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and results-oriented approach.
