Quality Control Inspector

About the Company:Our client is an established manufacturer servicing the aerospace, medical and fibre-optic industries for many years. They have established growth over the years and have delivered high quality products to their loyal clients across the region. They are seeking an experienced Quality Conrol Technician to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Check components for correctness, tolerances and any defects
• Use standard hand-measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, veinier, pin guages)
• Clean, brush and deburr all parts
• Accept or reject finished items
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
• Count and bag finished parts for final inspection
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database
• Update job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have good hand/eye co-ordination
• Possess a high attention to detail
• Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day along with extended periods of sitting
• Must be a team player and willing to work alongside and help other shop employees
• Reliable and Punctual
• Access to reliable transportation
